Common questions

How much does it cost to play?

Your first hit is completely free, come down and try it. After that it's $7 a week for social practice or $10 a week for pennant roster players (billed in bulk at the start of a roster).

Do I need my own bat or gear?

No. Bats and balls are at the club, and any comfortable clothes and non-marking sneakers are fine. If you get hooked, we can point you at the right first bat later.

When can I come and play?

Practice sessions run most days, and Sunday 3pm to 5pm is the most relaxed way in. Pennant competition runs Monday and Thursday nights from 6:30pm. See the New Here page for all times.

I've never played, will I be out of my depth?

No. Teams are graded by ability so you always play people around your level, and practice sessions are casual. Everyone at the club started somewhere, and ages genuinely range from kids to 80+.

How do teams and grades work?

The roster committee places players into teams based on ability, in A, B (and C on Mondays) grades. Teams play a round-robin each season with a finals night at the end, fixtures and results are on this site.
