We only collect the information we need to run the club, and we look after it carefully. This page explains what we hold, why, who can see it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

When you join the club or use this website we collect the details you give us: your name, date of birth, address, phone number and email, your emergency contact's name and number, and a parent or guardian's details for junior members. The site also keeps your match results and playing stats, any photos you upload, and messages you send through the contact form.

Why we collect it

We use these details to:

• run the club and its competitions,
• register you with Table Tennis Tasmania and Table Tennis Australia (registration is what covers you for insurance),
• contact you about club business,
• reach your emergency contact if something happens at the club, and
• publish fixtures, results, ladders and player averages.

Who can see it

• Your contact details, date of birth and emergency contact are visible only to the club committee.
• Your name and match results appear publicly on this site, and on Ratings Central if the club submits results there.
• Photos you upload appear in the members gallery only after a committee member approves them.

Who we share it with

• Table Tennis Tasmania and Table Tennis Australia, for registration and insurance.
• Ratings Central receives names and match results only.
• We never sell your information and we never share it for advertising.

How it is stored

Your details live in the club's website database with access controls, so committee-only records can only be opened by committee accounts.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or remove the information we hold about you at any time, and you can ask for any photo of you to be taken down. Use the contact page or speak to a committee member at the club.
