1. Name and purpose

The association is the Devonport Table Tennis Association Inc. Its purpose is to promote, develop and administer the sport of table tennis in Devonport and surrounds, for players of all ages and abilities.

2. Membership

Membership is open to anyone who supports the association's purpose. Categories, fees and the process for joining are set by the committee and published by the association.

3. Committee

The affairs of the association are managed by a committee including a President, Secretary and Treasurer, elected at the Annual General Meeting. The committee may appoint sub-committees (such as the roster committee) as required.

4. Meetings

An Annual General Meeting is held each year. Notice of meetings, quorum and voting procedures follow the association's rules and applicable Tasmanian incorporated associations legislation.

5. Finances

The association's funds are applied solely to its purpose. Accounts are kept by the Treasurer and reported to members at the AGM.

6. Amendments

This constitution may be amended by resolution at a general meeting in accordance with the association's rules.
